Getting started
Install the plugin, run your first check, and pair your WordPress site in under 10 minutes.
Installation guide
Create your account
Go to opsgate.ca/signup. Enter your name, email, and a password (minimum 8 characters). No credit card required for the free tier.
Install the plugin
In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New and search for “OpsGate”, then click Install Now. If your site installs plugins manually instead, download the ZIP from opsgate.ca/plugin and upload it — do not unzip it first.
Activate it
Click Activate. OpsGate opens its own screen inside your WordPress admin. Requires WordPress 6.5 or later and PHP 8.1 or later.
Run a free public check
After activation, the OpsGate plugin opens automatically. Click Run Free Security Assessment. This checks your site from the outside — no connection needed for the Free plan.
Connect for full access (Starter and above)
In your OpsGate console, go to Settings for your site and generate a connection code. Enter that code in the OpsGate WordPress plugin to complete the connection. Full security scanning, reports, and alerts turn on immediately.
