Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using OpsGate (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all tiers, including the Free tier.
2. Service description
OpsGate provides WordPress site intelligence, including vulnerability scanning, uptime monitoring, compliance posture mapping, and report generation. The Service operates via an API backed by a PostgreSQL database. A WordPress plugin connector is available for connected-tier features.
3. Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify OpsGate immediately of any unauthorized access. OpsGate is not liable for loss or damage arising from unauthorized account use.
4. Acceptable use
You may only use the Service on WordPress sites you own or are authorized to administer. You may not use the Service to scan, probe, or assess sites without authorization. Automated abuse, excessive API requests beyond documented rate limits, or attempts to circumvent entitlement gates are prohibited.
5. Paid tiers and billing
Paid tier subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Entitlement changes take effect within 60 seconds of a confirmed Stripe webhook event. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.
6. Data and privacy
OpsGate stores scan results, plugin inventory, session data, and entitlement records on the operator's VPS. No personally identifiable information beyond your email address and account name is required. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
7. Compliance representations
OpsGate compliance cards (OWASP Top 10, PCI-DSS 4.0) represent security posture alignment based on evidence gathered during scans. They are not certifications, attestations, or audit reports. OpsGate makes no representation that use of the Service satisfies any regulatory or contractual compliance obligation.
8. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is." OpsGate makes no warranty that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that vulnerability data is complete. OpsGate's liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the 30 days preceding the claim.
9. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time from the billing panel. OpsGate may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data is retained for 30 days before deletion.
10. Changes to terms
OpsGate may update these terms. Continued use of the Service after notice of changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the email address on your account.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.
